As of July 13, 2018, the T-Mobile contracts of the UT for business users have been adjusted. All current T-Mobile contracts, with a data plan within the Netherlands, can use the internet within the European Union*.
What does this mean?
An EU bundle of 200 Mb is available for every contract of the UT. These bundles are combined monthly into one large pool that can be used by everyone. This means that a pool of more than 100Gb is available every month for all users.
There is, however, a fair-use policy in effect. This means that in case of excessive consumption (> 400Mb per month outside NL), a user will have to pay the extra MBs at EUR 0.01 per MB.
• If you currently only have a Voice contract without data in The Netherlands, this change does not apply!
• Outside the EU, and for Voice contracts, a Travel & Surf card must still be purchased to be able to use the internet. You can purchase a Travel & Surf pass via the T-Mobile app or via SMS. More information about Travel & Surf passes and their purchase can be found on the T-Mobile website: https://www.t-mobile.nl/zakelijk/netwerk/buitenland (Dutch only).
