Electrical Engineering

Microsystems, robotics or signal processing for biomedical applications or telecommunications: if this is your passion, then Electrical Engineering is your programme.

You’ve completed a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering and you want to expand your knowledge and hone your skills further. You want to specialize in preparation for a career in science or industry. The Master’s programme in Electrical Engineering will teach you to define your own approach to analysis, research and design. You will work in teams with industrial designers or in research groups, and you will have the opportunity to join one of the University of Twente’s research institutes.

With no fewer than 12 research groups, the possibilities for fascinating projects are nearly endless. One of our research groups is researching and developing a Lab-on-a-Chip (LOC) system, while another is looking into methods to balance supply and demand through flexibility in supply chains. Each research group is responsible for one of our specializations. The sky is the limit within the range of specializations to choose from:
