When do applications close? If you wish to enrol in a master's, submit your application before the given date.
The application deadline is based on nationality. Your current nationality is leading, even if you have a Dutch or European residence permit. For example: if you have a Mexican nationality and hold a Dutch residence permit, your nationality is Mexican (not Dutch). Check the Dutch government website whether you have an EEA or visa nationality.
What applies to you? Check out the deadlines for your specific situation.
There are different deadlines for a few master's. Visit the pages of the programmes:
- Geo-Information Science & Earth Observation
- Geographical Information Management and Applications (GIMA)
- Psychology, specialisation in Positive Clinical Psychology & Technology
All (pre-)master's have an intake of 1 September, which means the academic year starts on 1 September. Your first day of class is often on another day. For some (pre-)master's - and also for specialisations within the master's - you can start in February. Check the website of the master's of your interest whether the pre-master’s or master's specialisation starts in September and/or in February.
There's no need to apply for a pre-master's. You always enrol for the master's of your choice. Following your application, UT will assess it and let you know if you need to follow a pre-master first. After you have successfully completed the pre-master’s, i.e. obtained sufficient ECTS, you can continue with the master’s.
