Master Open Day

Almost completed your bachelor's degree and keen to explore further with a master's? Good idea! Come visit the campus and discover your future master's. Will we see you on Thursday 21 March 2024 in Enschede?

What to expect?

You can participate in various informative and inspiring activities. Follow one or two study presentations of the master's that interest you, talk to students and join the campus tour to find out where you will be studying soon.

  • Timetable Master Open Day
    • 14.45 - 15.45 | Campus Tour

      Do you not only want to find out more about your future master's programme, but also discover where you will spend your time as a student? At 14:30, you can join a Campus Tour. Our students will be happy to show you around our beautiful campus!

    • 15.15 - 17.15 | Info Market

      Prior to the study presentations, you can visit the Info Market in the canteen of building 'De Waaier', where you can find information on topics such as admission, housing, transferring to a master's as a student of a university of applied sciences (hbo in Dutch), and more. On the Info Market, you can also have a snack and talk to students from different study programmes.

    • 15.45 - 16.10 | Opening: studying at UT

      During the Master Open Day, you'll want to get to know the University of Twente better - and there's plenty of time for that during the opening! You can choose between two opening sessions:

      Your student life: why UT?
      During this session, you will discover what it is like to be a student at the University of Twente. What are the benefits of getting your master's degree here? And what is student life like on campus and in Enschede?

      Finance & housing in Enschede
      Would you like more information about the practical matters of studying at UT? What about study finance, for example? And how do you find housing? You'll discover this and more during this session.

    • 16.15 - 16.40 | In-depth session: transfer info

      Sometimes, moving on from your bachelor's to your master's is very easy. But especially if your bachelor's does not directly connect - or seem to connect - to the master's of your interest, you might be left with many questions. Are you admissible? Or can you continue with a pre-master? During this in-depth session, you will discover everything you need to know about transferring to a master's programme at the University of Twente. When signing up for the Open Day, you can choose between two sessions:

      - Transferring after (Dutch) HBO
      - Transferring after your current bachelor's

    • 17.15 - 18.15 | Study presentation 1

      The study presentations take place in the education building of the master's you have signed up for. 

    • 18.45 - 19.45 | Study presentation 2

      The study presentations take place in the education building of the master's you have signed up for.

Robotics, Health Sciences, Business Administration, or Nanotechnology... Which programme do you prefer? Sign up for one or two study presentations and ask all of your questions to find out if the master's suits you.
