As of the end of this year our institutional license for Mendeley will be discontinued. Access to your account and library will continue, but the extra benefits will be cancelled. In the new situation you will have:
- 2 GB storage
- 100 MB shared storage
If your current library storage doesn’t exceed the new limit, you can just keep using Mendeley as usual. You can find your current storage by logging into your account at Mendeley.com under Account > Settings > Subscription
If your library exceeds the new storage limits you can still use the library as is, but you can no longer add new references. In this case there are several options. Please consult Managing storage limitations for more information.
Since we are still in the process of evaluating the different reference managers available, we do not advise to instantaneous switch to a new reference manager. If you are still able to use Mendeley in a workable format it’s best to continue working with Mendeley for now.
