Join us for exclusive ONLINE training sessions on GEOBASE and Knovel!

We are excited to invite all UT researchers and students to training sessions on the GEOBASE database and Knovel database.

GEOBASE is a database focusing on geoscience and geography literature with an emphasis on human and physical geography, ecology, geology, oceanography, geomechanics, water management, and international development studies/impacts.

Knovel is an engineering resource for material property data, technical references and interactive tools to solve engineering challenges. It covers a wide range of subjects, such as chemical engineering, aerospace & radar technology, electronics & semiconductors, civil engineering & construction, biochemistry & biotechnology, and many more.

During these sessions, a representative of Elsevier will navigate us through the databases, give search examples, and demonstrate the interactive tools, followed up by a Q&A.
