Choosing a master's but missed the Online Open Day?

Mirjam received her Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering and is now studying the subsequent Master’s programme in Biomedical Engineering. When she finishes her Master’s programme, she aspires a management position in a company that is biomedical related.

The Master’s in Biomedical Engineering combines different disciplines such as biology, medicine, physics and chemistry, but within the curriculum there is enough space to specialize in the area of your interest. The courses are interesting and multidisciplinary and often involve group work. The Master’s courses bring more depth in the subjects you are taught during the Bachelor’s and they extend your knowledge on the several subjects. I chose to study at the University of Twente because it is a very open university with endless possibilities to develop yourself during your study, but also outside the Master’s. Also, the study counseling is very well organized.

Enschede is a fun city which has a lot of things to do for students, despite its small size. The small size makes that it is easy to get to know people. There are a lot of student associations for fun, sports and study which organize fun things to do but also study related trips or activities. There’s always something to do and someone to do it with.
