Update: improvements to the purchase-to-pay (P2P) process

We have been working with Proactis for ordering products and services within our university since summer 2021. Although the implementation of Proactis means progress in many areas of the purchase-to-pay process, we also see that there is still plenty of room for improvement.

Our focus is mainly on reducing the workload of our customers during the ordering process and improving the information regarding the orders. An adjustment that contributes to this was implemented in Augustus. Since then, the contact details of the Procurement department (telephone number and e-mail address) are listed on the orders that are sent to the suppliers and replace the contact details of the customer. We hope that this change will help us to encourage suppliers to contact the Procurement department if they have any questions about the order or the invoice (status).
