Recently, a number of significant changes were made to the homepage of the University Library to improve its usability for visitors. The most important change is aimed at improving access to search engines and databases used by researchers and students. You can now search in the discovery tool FindUT, in University of Twente Research Information, and in the Student Theses database directly from the homepage. Additionally, links to frequently used databases, such as Scopus and Web of Science, are provided under one single tab called ‘databases’.
Another change is aimed at making it easier for student and employees to contact the University Library. On the homepage visitors can now immediately get in contact by clicking on for example the Whatsapp or Email icon under ‘connect’. Lastly a few small changes to the layout, such as the relocation of the quick links and a library specific banner were made.
