Een VIRTUAL Reality - A SOLUTION FOR THE MARKET OR FOR HealthCARE?
The possibilities of Virtual Reality are endless, also for healthcare. Treatments can be supported by VR, or even take place completely in the virtual world. Virtual Reality is now increasingly making its way to rehabilitation and physiotherapy, where VR applications focus on (re) learning movements, skills or thoughts, but is still a long way from daily application.
What is necessary for Virtual Reality to gain a foothold in rehabilitation as well? Or are these (virtual) worlds too far from each other?
In this webinar we will explore these questions. We do this on the basis of an example of a VR application: a virtual bicycle trainer. This bicycle trainer was developed from a care demand and together with the care providers and target group. However, is this also the market demand? In the webinar we will discuss with each other and investigate possible success and impeding factors, which partners are necessary, and what possible next steps could be to successfully apply VR in the rehabilitation market.
