From the 21st of November till the 25th of November the Week of Inspiration 2016 will take place. A week where international speakers will visit the University of Twente to speak about their area of knowledge.
This year we welcome many interesting speakers again such as Gerard ‘t Hooft, the only still living Dutch Nobel Laureate, who will be speaking about Quantum Black Holes. Another visitor is Arnon Grunberg, with his talk about Love and Technology, which is bound to be interesting. ‘Neuromagician’ Victor Mids is also invited to our stage and will share his ideas on the connection between magical illusions and scientific insights.
Besides these inspiring lectures, the programme contains other mind-opening events, for both students and teachers. Have you ever had the 'eureka'-feeling of really grasping a complicated concept? Have you ever seen this 'eureka'-moment in your students? Do you want to find out what this really is and how to make this happen? Then join the workshop teaching on the 23rd of November. The lecture on the theory behind this phenomenon is openly accessible. The workshop part can only be attended on invite (through study associations).
