Do you want the chance to participate in a creative think tank that triggers you, a young spinoff/ startups, to focus your creative minds on a real-life construction sector problem!
Your role as member of a startup is the prime reason for us to ask you to participate. We hence invite you to meet us on May 27, and to become connected with problem owners and other startups from the construction domain and beyond. Do you accept the challenge? Participation is free (!)
Why a ‘hackathon’?
Adopted from IT- hackathon setting shapes a think-tank setting in which participants can propose unconventional ‘out of the box’ solutions to existing problems. Since it is organized primarily for startups, the event creates an excellent chance for participants to show their capacity and identify to potential clients (problem owners). On its turn, the Dutch Construction Hackathon is related to
StartupFest Europe; a European Festival comprising 30 Startup events. Founders, investors, businesses and developers will come together on theme’s such as food, water, energy, high tech, construction and agriculture.
Why hacking?
The concept & context will be used to let problem solving go beyond existing, state-of-the-art solutions. We want to invite a broad range of Startups to invent unusual & progressive solutions for today’s challenges.
What will you gain as a startup?
The ambition is to actually implement the winning solutions. Problem owners support the winning teams by providing a test-case, test bed or experimental setting to execute the winning plan.
