Twente Water Weeks on campus

Visit the Twente Water Weeks

From 29 April to 12 May, the Twente Water Weeks will take place. Scattered throughout Twente, all kinds of activities will be organised related to the theme of water. From excursions and open days to cycling trips and guided tours. A fun and educational outing for every age during the May holidays!

Two activities also take place on the UT campus. On 29 and 30 April, you can make your own membrane in UT's Waterlab. Or take a tour of the campus with a focus on water. Participation is free, but you must register in advance for both activities.

Increasingly often, we are experiencing periods of drought. This has unpleasant consequences for people, animals and nature. Good water management is therefore crucial. During the Twente Water Weeks, you will learn more about how we do this in Twente and what you yourself can do to prevent problems caused by drought. From Monday 29 April, there will be activities for young and old in various Twente municipalities.

The Twente Water Weeks are an initiative of the Twents Waternet: a partnership between the Twente municipalities, water board Vechtstromen, Vitens and the province of Overijssel. The Twents Water Weeks tie in with the national Week of Our Water. For more information see the Groenblauw Twente website.
