In the dicing room in the cleanroom the new Disco dicer is now installed and available for use.
As the previous one this dicer is capable of dicing silicon and glass wafers op to 150mm (diameter)
The new tool is available for those users that will frequently use the machine and experienced users of the dicers.
To use the new machine it is necessary to have a clear visible pattern with dicing lines (streets) or markers. Dimensions between the streets must also be known by the user. Without this markings and figures it is not possible to use the system.
For all other dicing jobs it is better and more efficient to use the Loadpoint dicer.
