Contract for collaboration Monash University, University of Twente and Kennispark Twente

During Startup Fest and The Future of High Tech, a strong delegation of the Monash University from Australia is visiting Twente. They are here to expand interactions between Monash University, University of Twente and Kennispark Twente. They want to confirm their current collaboration which reflects the successful interactions between all parties into a valuable relationship. Tuesday the 24th of May, Ian Smith (Vice-Provost Monash University), Victor van der Chijs (President University of Twente) and Kees Eijkel (CEO Kennispark Twente) signed the Memorandum of Understanding and Student Exchange Agreement to stimulate more collaboration.  

Monash University

Monash University is the biggest university of Australia, with over 65 000 students. Monash is located in Australia, Malaysia, South Africa, China, India and Italy and achieved an enviable national and international reputation for research and teaching excellence in a shot 50 years. As Vice-Provost, Professor Ian Smith plays a University-wide leadership role, responsible for managing the development and implementation of infrastructure strategy and investing in leading-edge infrastructure and equipment to support Monash University’s research aspirations.   

Memorandum of Understanding

The Memorandum of Understanding means collaboration on academic and research activities between Monash University, University of Twente and Kennispark Twente in the following categories:

Collaboration in the areas of mutual interest, including research ad entrepreneurialism

Exchange of education and training materials

Exchange of scholars

Exchange of students

Cooperative seminars, workshops and other activities associated with research and entrepreneurialism.
