So take extra care when using a secure WiFi network, make sure your computer, applications and anti-virus software are up to date. Also, pay special attention to attempts by criminals to steal your money or log in details.

  • My internet connection seems very slow. What I can do about it?
    • Check your speed and compare it to your plan. Run a speed test using a website like Speedtest.net to see how well it’s actually performing. Compare the measured speed results against the expected speed of the Internet connection plan.
    • Check your Wi-Fi signal strength. If low, reposition to get a better signal.
    • Limit de data usage of apps or other devices on the network.
    • Restart your modem, router and/or pc.
    • Disconnect the VPN if you do not need it.
    • Check if the slowness just happens on one computer, or all your devices? If it is only one device that is slow, the connection itself is fine.

NOTE: these tips are purely intended as a suggestion, the UT has no influence on a home network.
