- Functional (shared) mailboxFor projects, departments, event or other purposes you may request a functional (non-personal) email address like abc-project@utwente.nl or secr-group-faculty@utwente.nl and grant several colleagues acces to that mailbox. Policy & Agreements The email policy is part of the (URL) Name policy UT, listed on the page with policies for end users. MC approves (the format of) your new email address. Afterwards, LISA takes care of setting it up, including the user rights. How to access a functional mailbox Due to national university security policy, all functional mailboxes need to be accessed with your personal password. Passwords to access the functional mailbox directly are not provided. There are different levels of user rights. If you cannot send mail on behalf of the functional mailbox, then your user rights can be extended. You cannot request additional rights for yourself. Please let someone who already has the rights fill in the mailbox access form in the LISA Self Service portal and request the rights for you
- Mailing lists for students and employees via lists.utwente.nlShort link for this page: utwente.nl/lists. The University of Twente has set up "mailing lists" for employees and students. These are e-mail discussion lists to which you can subscribe. All subscribers can join in the discussions by sending an e-mail to the list. This e-mail is then sent to all subscribers. LISA manages these mailing lists using the List Server. The UT's List Server provides a list of all existing mailing lists. An archive is also maintained for many mailing lists. For some lists, this archive is public, however for other mailing lists it is only available to subscribers. These archives can also be found on the List Server. Planzelf gives UT employees (users of Microsoft Outlook / Microsoft Exchange) the opportunity to open their agenda to a certain extent for third parties. Third parties are students in this case, but they can also be external relations. These third parties are then given limited access to the agenda of the employee and can make a proposal for an appointment. Appointment requests from colleagues or from third parties look identical. This also applies to the settlement of the agreements. Description Planzelf is an appointment system in which a third party (e.g. students) can easily make an appointment with an employee of the UT. The employee who wishes to use Planzelf can register via this link in the LISA Self Service Portal.
