PANEL TALK

The day will be closed by an inspiring and insightful panel discussion featuring Houda Loukili, Lipa Nessa, and Aleksandra, moderated by Ebru Aydin. The panel discussion will dive into women's challenges, highlighting Muslim women's experiences when performing sports and ways to overcome them!

Ebru Aydin is a professional moderator and photographer. She has a background in Sociology and a teaching degree in “Social Studies,” she likes talking to people, raising awareness, and activating them while contributing to an inclusive society.

Houda Loukili is a Dutch ex-champion in kickboxing in 2005. Now she is a motivational speaker and coach with a powerful transformation story. It's a story filled with moments of falling down, picking oneself up, and forging ahead with even more determination. She beautifully states: “ The world of sports and my faith can certainly be combined, I have proven that.”

Lipa Nessa is as she describes herself: “Formally a semi-professional footballer and now a grassroots coach, co-founder, sports activist, and I sit on several sports boards. My passion for football is constantly growing and led me to coin my catchphrase “I’m going to change the world with a hijab on my head and a ball at my feet.”

Aleksandra is a local kickbox trainer fascinated by movement and what it does to people. She spent about 17 years kickboxing in the dojo and practised mixed martial arts next to it. She converted to Islam, merged her love for sports with her faith, and embraced hijab.

JOIN US ON THE 23RD OF MAY TO WITNESS THE INCREDIBLE STRENGTH, PERSEVERANCE AND DEDICATION OF THESE TRULY INSPIRING WOMEN!
