TechMed Summer Meeting
We are still working and living in particularly challenging times due to the COVID-19 crisis. Despite the impact this crisis has on all of us, it has also created opportunities for the TechMed community and we are proud of the results it has delivered. For example, joint initiatives with our strategic partnerships within the various TechMed ecosystems have led to accelerated implementation of technological innovations that have an impact on future healthcare.
Now that the COVID-19 rules are being relaxed, it is also time to meet again in real life and to (re)explore the campus and the TechMed facilities. We can imagine that you are curious about this TechMed community and what the TechMed Centre can offer you and above all: you want to meet your TechMed colleagues and get together! We have deliberately chosen to organize this after the summer holidays, so that we have more certainty that this will take place physically together with a large group of colleagues.
This year, the TechMed Summer Meeting program will be all about meeting each other and exploring TechMed and the UT Campus. We promise you that it will be a varied, original and above all pleasant Summer Meeting, with dinner and drinks.
For whom
The TechMed Summer Meeting is intended for all UT TechMed colleagues: from secretaries to clinical professors, from lecturers to research support staff, from technicians to external researchers, from management staff to PhD students and from educational coordinators to postdocs.
For now there is no limit on maximum participants. However, this may change if the COVID-19 rules require it.
Registration
Although this is a free event, please note that registration for this event is not obligation-free. We will count on your participation for reserving drinks and food during the program. If you can not attend the event for which you have already registered, we kindly ask that you let us know. Simply e-mail techmed-events@utwente.nl.
Organization
The TechMed Summer Meeting is an initiative of the Technical Medical Centre: Research, Education and Infra support. With this event we aim to get to know the TechMed UT community better and we provide an overview of the possibilities that the TechMed Centre has to offer.

Impact on healthcare
In our mission to impact society, we stimulate entrepreneurship and enable (new) companies to grow within our regional Novel-T ecosystem. We collaborate with industry, hospitals, governments and insurance agencies on the development of new solutions for healthcare.
