On wednesday afternoon, 2 May 2018 a new edition of TEDxTwenteU will take place!
TEDxTwenteU is an event related to TED, known for its famous words ‘Ideas worth spreading’. The intention is to share an idea or concept in a few minutes with the public. We aim to offer an accessible and affordable way of bringing people together and, as the slogan of TED says, spread ideas to inspire the public. The vibe of the event will be intimate, because only hundred of the most enthusiastic students and employees of the UT will be chosen after a short written motivation.
This event is mainly focussed on the students and employees of the UT. You can visit the event by joining the speakers or the visitors in the audience. Speaking at a TEDx event is a unique experience. Leading up to the event you will get coaching on how to give a TEDx talk and shape your story. You will meet the other speakers and be able to listen to their stories. On the day of the event you will also have the chance to see the event from the public perspective. Afterwards, your talk will be uploaded on the official TEDx channels.
