We are excited to announce a very special event. On 2 July 2015 the large number of 165 International Business Administration students will present their BSc thesis at a students’ conference. The 5th IBA Bachelor Thesis Conference will take place at the University of Twente and will be followed by an interactive graduation ceremony. The large number of students that will present and defend their thesis on the same day makes this event very special and exciting.
You are more than welcome to participate in our students’ conference. The presentations will be given in English because of the international audience.
The bachelor thesis projects presented at the conference will be related to ten important knowledge areas of International Business Administration.
The IBA programme introduced the format of writing bachelor thesis as an academic conference paper in the academic year 2013. Their scientific achievements are publically visible, here. Up to now 212 students presented their theses in this way.
During the research process in the IBA bachelor thesis project the students learn from each other, support each other and get careful guidance by their supervisors. Two years of experience have proven the format of thesis writing as very successful, efficient and particularly excited for both students and teachers. Everyone benefits in this process. Students are guided through the well-structured and scheduled process.
The presentations at the conference are about 20 minutes each and scheduled in three rounds of sessions in 16 rooms in parallel. The global conference programme is given hereafter. More information about the event and the detailed programme is available on the conference’s webpage, here.
