Organization is mainly about bringing together knowledge and skills from different scientific fields. |As an organizer, you have the broad knowledge needed to play a pivotal role in the development of new solutions in complex social or industrial environments.
Research is all about knowledge and knowledge development. As a researcher you assess existing knowledge and build on it. You systematically work on discovering new things that are important for our society and industry.
The Master's programme Mechanical Engineering at the University of Twente is a two-year programme. It is taught entirely in English, as many of the companies and organizations that mechanical engineers end up working for are internationally oriented. Once you have completed the Master's programme you will be an Engineer (Ir.) or Master of Science (MSc).
