This is a message for Apple users who use the Notes function in Microsoft Outlook or the Apple Notes App on which you have set up synchronization with Microsoft Exchange.
Microsoft is gradually phasing out the use of Notes. If you use Notes, it is possible that after the mailbox transfer to Microsoft 365, notes can no longer be easily found. Instead, One Note is advised.
Therefore our advice is to also secure Apple Notes yourself before your mailbox is transferred to Microsoft 365, so that you can easily find them after transfer.
Our Office 365 for employee manual section describes how you can easily do this yourself (how to backup, and how to find them later). After the transfer of your mailbox, the archive function of Notes is activated and older notes are placed in Microsoft's Online Archive.
