On Thursday, 12 June 2025, De Waaier on the campus of the University of Twente will form the setting for the Grand Finale of the UT Challenge 2025. During this annual event, the most promising student teams will present their innovative ideas to the public, investors, and an expert jury. An inspiring afternoon where talent, entrepreneurship, and technology come together.
Of the 84 participating teams, the best 20 have managed to qualify for this final round. They will first present their concepts at the Showcase Fair, where visitors will have the opportunity to speak with the young entrepreneurs, view their prototypes, and be inspired by their creativity and drive.
This will be followed by the Grand Showdown: a pitch competition on the main stage in which the finalists will compete for the title of 'best student team of the University of Twente'. A professional jury will assess the teams on impact, feasibility, presentation, and other factors. Additionally, there is also the Audience Award to win.
