Planetary health - Impact workshop

Are you ready to make a meaningful difference in the world of Planetary Health? We invite you to be part of the change. The TechMed Centre and Climate Centre are collaborating on an exciting new impact programme, and we need your insights and expertise to shape the future of Planetary Health. In this first session, we are interested in attracting those with a particular focus on human health, while recognising the importance of connections across health and environmental systems.

Address hot topics for the programme Planetary Health

Planetary Health isn't just a buzzword; it's a call to action. Planetary Health is about the health of human civilization and the natural systems on which it depends (The Lancet). It's broader than Climate.

This workshop is about identifying key challenges, harnessing our university's strengths, and coming together to address pressing (global) issues.  How can the University of Twente lead the way in Planetary Health research (resilience/mitigation/ more?) and integrate these vital topics into education?

Your Voice Matters

We believe that change happens when brilliant minds unite. Your unique perspective, knowledge, and ideas can help shape the future of Planetary Health. Whether you're a seasoned expert or a passionate newcomer, we want to hear from you. Share what you bring to the table and what you're seeking. What themes and subjects are close to your heart, and where can we work together to make a real impact?

Let's Harness Our Collective Strength

Together, we can drive transformation and positively impact our world. We emphasize that Planetary Health is an emerging topic & that we have so many angles/disciplines at the UT, and our aim is to map topics and pinpoint strengths and gaps to be able to start acting & make a change transdisciplinary throughout UT.
