On Friday 16 September, the Gerard Sanderink scholarships will be awarded for the third time. The scholarships will be awarded personally by Gerard Sanderink to 9 students enrolled in a technical education at Saxion Applied University (5 students) and University of Twente (4 students).
Gerard Sanderink, initiator and founder of these grants, wants to encourage further development of talented young students who have demonstrated capabilities in the field of technology. The scholarship entails a financial contribution of € 10.000,-- per student per year.
Entrepreneur Gerard Sanderink is also owner of the IT firm Centric Technology, Strukton and the engineering and consulting group Antea. He was born and raised in Twente and he likes to stimulate development in his region. He started this scholarship program with the aim to retain young talented students in Twente and to support their further development
