Blind Equalization for Underwater Communications
The underwater environment is a harsh environment for communication. As of today, underwater communication mainly uses acoustic transducers due to the fast attenuation of Electromagnetic (EM) waves in water. The three main characteristics of underwater acoustic communication are the low propagation speed, frequency dependent attenuation and time-varying multipath propagation. More information:
