Most commonly, this concerns the use of bin liners, paper, etc. But there is so much more than that. Below, you can find an overview of the agreements entered into between Asito, CWS and the Facility Service Centre in terms of sustainability. Social sustainability Human sustainability is a primary focal point to which UT wishes to make a bigger contribution. In the coming years, this will transform into a statutory obligation. Social Return At least 5% of Asito's employees at UT are people who have difficulty on the labour market, such as long-term unemployed people and young people receiving 'Wajong' benefits. Asito entered into a covenant with Workplein Twente. Every quarter, all vacancies to be expected for cleaners are placed there. Through a speed dating process, Asito selects candidates who are subsequently asked for a follow-up interview. After further introductions, candidates are offered training positions. This entails a
- Cleaning generalUT entered into a contract with Asito for the cleaning maintenance of the UT buildings. The contract is a results-based contract. Quality requirements (cleanliness requirements) have been determined per room category. The cleaning company is obliged to provide the contracted quality. How this result is achieved is the responsibility of the supplier. The cleaning company is free to determine in which ways and how often a room needs to be cleaned within the preconditions set in the contract. The basic principle is that it meets the set requirements. The cleaning company anticipates changing occupation and soiling of rooms. Quality inspection cleaning Six times a year, the company Intexso performs quality inspections in all University buildings. These inspections are performed on the basis of the requirements set in the contract. The results of these inspections are discussed with the faculty and service contacts of the buildings in question. More information on the quality inspections is also available. Cleaning

Quality requirements (cleanliness requirements) have been determined per room category. The cleaning company is obliged to provide the contracted quality. Quality inspections in all the University buildings are performed six times a year. These inspections are performed on the basis of the requirements set in the contract. They are performed by the company Intexso. The results of these inspections are discussed with the faculty and service contacts of the buildings in question. If inspection results are below the established values, then a reinspection can be performed. The Contract Manager or Facility Service Team Leader determines whether or not a reinspection is performed. - Cleaning sanitation equipmentA contract has been entered into with CWS for the sanitation equipment and products. They provide toilet roll holders, towel dispensers, soap dispensers, barrier mats, paper towel dispensers and feminine hygiene bins. They also provide consumables, such as bin liners and towel rolls. The various consumables are delivered centrally by CWS. Asito distributes the items to the various buildings, refils the soap dispensers, exchanges the towel rolls and restocks the toilet roll holders. Order method For requests regarding sanitary equipment you can contact your building's Facility Service Team Leader. For all other questions and comments regarding cleaning and sanitary equipment, you can contact your building's Service Desk. - Cleaning sanitation facilitiesThe sanitation facilities at the University need to constantly meet the set cleanliness requirements during the opening hours of a building. Asito will adjust the frequency with which the facilities are cleaned depending on the use intensity. Standard services The components included in the standard services are summed up below. They fall under the results-based programme. Every day, a second inspection in all sanitary facilities is performed for the sanitary equipment (between about 12:00 and 14:00). If necessary, the equipment is refilled. - Cleaning work spaceThe cleanliness of a work space must meet the set requirements immediately after cleaning. The time of the cleaning depends on the how dirty the room is. The extent of accepted dirt is recorded in the contract. In order to keep a work space as clean as possible, a tidy desk and a floor that is as empty as possible is desired. This allows Asito to perform their work optimally. Standard services The components included in the standard services are summed up below. They fall under the results-based programme.
