ODISSEI is the Dutch national data infrastructure for the social sciences, with 29 participants including all Dutch social science faculties, some economics and business administration faculties, NWO and the national planning agencies. ODISSEI offers several contributions to researchers, including a discount for CBS Microdata and free access to the LISS panel. Microdata are data on a personal, company or address level that can be connected and can be particularly valuable to statistical researchers.
ODISSEI launched a call for free usage of Microdata, particularly aimed at early career researchers. The subsidy offers an unprecedented opportunity to use Microdata for your own medium-sized research, free of charge. In 2019, there is budget available for approving five proposals. In addition, regular projects from ODISSEI participants receive a 50% discount. The application must be submitted no later than 30 April 2019. The project should start in the second half of 2019.
