Visit from Universitas Sebelas Maret

A delegation from the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS), Surakarta (Central Java, Indonesia) recently came to visit us.

UNS is a public university established in 1976. It has 10 Faculties with about 30,000 bachelor, 4,500 master, and 250 PhD students. The delegation included Prof. D. Darsono (Director of Research and Community Services), Prof. T. Haryono (Director of PhD Program in Economics and Business), Prof. H. Hartono (Vice Dean of Faculty of Medicine and Public Health), Dr. I. Trinugroho (Director of International Collaboration and Accreditation) and a few academic staff. They were received by Rez Kabir (Professor of Finance), Inge van Haare (Coordinator Internationalization), Aleksandra Kovač (Coordinator International Affairs, International Business Administration Program) and Paul van Dijk (Twente Graduate School). The delegation also met several students and PhD researchers from Indonesia. Fruitful discussions were held on educational and research collaborations, including signing of MoU, setting up of double-degree MSc program, PhD and joint research projects. Further visits and talks will be held in coming months.
