Since around 1 pm this afternoon, several protesters have gathered in and in front of the Vleugel building. For this reason, the building will not be accessible to others until further notice. With their action, the protesters are calling attention to the situation in Gaza.
Update: 6.20 pm: After the Executive Board and a delegation of the protesters spoke, they left the building.
Recently, the EB has met several times with a delegation from Enschede for Palestine about the actions they would like to see us take as a university. See also our earlier post on this.
In the coming period, we will continue to discuss this issue.
