Crowds expected on and around campus on Thursday due to Nations League football

On Thursday 15 June and Sunday 18 June, the FC Twente stadium will be the venue for the Nations League Finals. The semi-final between Spain and Italy takes place on Thursday at 20:45. Sunday at 3pm is the match for third place, and the loser of Thursday's match will take on the loser of the Netherlands-Croatia match. Because of these matches, we are expected a crowded campus on both days.

Since Thursday is a regular working day, it is likely to be extra busy. It is wise to take this into account, for example by coming by bike if you can.

From 12.30 pm onwards, visitors to the match can park their cars in one of the car parks on campus. Traffic controllers will be guide visitors to a free spot. Should there be insufficient space in the regular parking spots, visitors will be allowed - on the instructions of the traffic controllers – to park in a number of spots on the grass verge and a meadow near Achterhorst will be opened up.

Shuttle buses will run from UT grounds to both the stadium and the fan zone in the Volkspark.
