HomeNews & events1st Symposium on “Dynamic Covalent Chemistry (DCC) in water”

1st Symposium on “Dynamic Covalent Chemistry (DCC) in water” Sponsored by NWO, Molecules Centre and Polymers Center Twente from MESA+

Date: October 24th, 2022. 9:00-17:30 h

Location: Room Carré 3C (building no.15), Campus University of Twente, the Netherlands.

Goals

The aim of this Symposium is to build a community of researchers working on Dynamic Covalent Chemistry (DCC) in aqueous media, both at the fundamental and applied fronts. It will gather scientists from chemistry, materials science, physics, and engineering disciplines; from the UT and abroad. The invited presentations will showcase recent developments in the field at the molecular, materials and system’s level; the use of innovative characterization techniques to elucidate reaction mechanisms, and the implementation of DCC-based tools for various applications. Moreover, contributions from UT scientists will present ongoing research in dynamic systems covering supramolecular chemistry, polymer chemistry and materials science.

Program can be found here:

Registration

Participation is free of charge, but registration is mandatory (capacity for 50 participants max.). We welcome PhD students, postdocs and PIs.

Please, register until Monday 17th October here.

We look forward to an inspiring Symposium!
