WHAT DOES THE DATA SCIENCE WEEK INVOLVE?
Over the course of one week, you will compete with other teams of scientists working with data to solve a real data science case.
To help with this task, the BDSi staff will organize several seminars and workshops throughout the week to introduce the various steps involved in data science. Workshops such as:
- Data Wrangling
- Data Visualization
- Machine Learning
If you are new to data science, the data science week will give you a first impression of the advantages and challenges of working with machine learning methods. We will guide you through the process and help you along with all the stepping stones.
If you’re already on an advanced level, the data science week will help you improve and test your skills and network with other data science enthusiasts at the UT.
Workshops are at lunch time! BDSi staff is available for help and questions any time that fits into your schedule. In depth support is in the hour after lunch.
