Quantum mechanics is not easy to comprehend: try to imagine a switch which is on and off at the same time! Dr. Cas Damen (lector Nanotechnology Saxion) shows you around in the wondrous quantum world and discusses several practical applications. Dr. Jelmer Renema (assistant professor UT and Chief Scientist QuiX Quantum) built a quantum computer which nowadays sets the standard in Europa. He’ll explain you how he turned photons into qubits and how you can calculate with them. Moderator: prof. dr. ing. Dave Blank (Research Advisor Saxion). In cooperation with KIVI Students Twente, Arago, Inter-Actief and Scintilla.  This is a Dutch program, for more information read the Dutch item.
