Dear Creative Minds,
In the summer of 2016 a part of the Hengelosestraat will be renovated, this will include a better bus-lane for better public transport. Like many of you know road construction can cause frustration to commuters. Since the street is quite narrow, but also very busy, the hinder is expected to be substantial.
The company hoping to get the assignment and do the renovation, REEF Infrastructure, is looking into ways to help make the whole experience less troublesome for us and everyone around the renovation. They have asked the university to help. Your mission, should you choose to accept it is to partake in a brainstorm session about ways to decrease the trouble experienced from the renovation. The brainstorm will be held on Monday 12th of October from 18:00 to 22:00 in the Designlab.
As a little token of their appreciation REEF will provide Free Pizza that evening!
At the end of the brainstorm the best concepts will be reviewed by a professional jury consisting of mr. Fischer, District Manager East at REEF Infra (Chairm an), mr. de Koning, Chairman Bedrijvenvereniging Kennispark Enschede, mr. Sietsema, Chairman Winkeliersvereniging Woonplein Enschede.
The jury will judge on: functionality, creativity, achievability within three months, necessary investments.
If REEF gets the assignment to execute the renovation they will include the winning concept into their plan, which means they will have a budget available for it. You will then have the possibility to turn your concept into a working service!
