‘Note that this course includes content on time management. If you followed the TGS PhD/EngD Introductory Workshop since September 2023, time management has been covered during the workshop. Therefore:
If you are a PhD candidate, we don’t recommend that you follow the Professional Effectiveness course. Instead, you can follow courses such as a) Negotiation skills, b) Interview skills, c) Pleasantly Assertive and/or d) Personal branding for scientists. Alternatively, you can wait until 2025 because by then the Professional Effectiveness course will not include the time management content anymore but instead, it will include new content such as networking/pitching.
