The UT Grants Office is organising an information session on the European Research Council (ERC) funding instrument, given the major changes to ERC grants that have taken place in the last two years, specifically in terms of the application procedure and eligibility window. The session addresses the main European Research Council (ERC) frontier grants, particularly the ERC Starting, Consolidator, and Advanced grants.
The following topics will be covered:
- What ERC grants are
- The application and evaluation procedures
- What kind of research ideas get funded by the ERC
- The role of the applicants CV
- Support available for applicants
The presentation is scheduled to take 45 minutes to an hour, followed by 30 minutes of Q&A, allowing participants to ask any questions they may have.
