WHAT'S IT ABOUT
The Vidi training will provide participants with support for the development of a competitive proposal for the NWO Talent Programme Vidi. It is designed for researchers who will apply for a Vidi in 2025.
During this training, you will be introduced to the Vidi procedure and dive into each section of the application document. The goal is to understand the key aspects of what makes a good pre-proposal and full proposal (eventually). The sessions run from June 2025 to August 2026 and will support the entire application process.
Pre-proposal support:
The VIDI course is offered by grant advisors of UT and Yellow Research and includes four sessions:
- Session 1: General overview of the Vidi application process, eligibility, and evaluation criteria
- Session 2: Preparation of a competitive pre-proposal with an in-depth analysis of the application template, including academic profile, key output, and the research idea
- Session 3: How to develop your research idea
- Session 4: Evaluation process-meet the committee
Proposal support:
The proposal training sessions will be announced later.
