Part of the mission of the University of Twente is to develop sustainable, proactive measures for societal problems. As a university, we lead by example and consider sustainability to be a precondition for everything we do, including in our own operational management. In practice, this means the UT strives to reduce our CO2 footprint by 15% in 2023 (compared to 2020) and become CO2 neutral by 2030.
Here you will find information on measures the UT takes, what that means for you and how you can help to achieve this goal.
