Replace paper documents by digital reproductions

Definition

The most far-reaching form of digital working is to say goodbye to paper. The UT has a set of rules that allow paper documents to be replaced by digital reproductions. The archival records that are eligible for permanent preservation pursuant to an adopted "Selectielijst Nederlandse Universiteiten" shall be preserved in such a way that when those records are consulted after at least one hundred years, their quality will not have deteriorated significantly.

Departments that want to work fully digitally can request a Substitution permission at Archive.

Quality framework

We would like to explain the Replacement Manual in an interview. In the application procedure, the set of appointments shall be tested for your day-to-day operations and whether the process meets the requirements of replacement.
