Over the years, Business Days Twente has become the most prominent student career event in the Netherlands. From Monday, 6 February, students at the University of Twente will again have the chance to explore the job market or look for an internship, graduation project or an employer. All activities can be visited completely free of charge.
'The war on talent' is a term that many students have come across recently. UT students are in great demand these days, and there is a lot of choice for them. Through all these opportunities, many students cannot seem to find the perfect one for them anymore. It is not easy to already know exactly what you want in the middle of your studies. Getting oriented early on to all the different options can make your choice easier.
The organisation of Business Days Twente is happy to support students to do just that. They organise all kinds of different events, aiming to bring companies and students closer together. The Business Days Twente starts with the Kick- ff Festival on Monday, 6, and Tuesday, 7 February, at the O&O square. Here it is possible to get to know more about all the different activities. Career Fair
The biggest and busiest activity of the Business Days Twente is the Career Fair. The Fair will take place on Wednesday, 15 and Thursday, 16 February, between 10:00 and 17:00 in the Grolsch Veste. More than 16 0 companies can be found at the Fair on these two days. Companies from every sector will be present. It is an excellent opportunity for students to explore diverse options. You'll have the chance to walk past the various stands, to see which companies you'd like to talk to.
Workshop Weeks
After getting to know companies, students will have the opportunity for personal development. Students can register easily for different workshops on their own or with friends. For example, during the Effective Negotiation workshop, students will learn the tips and tricks of negotiation. Are you almost graduated and curious about how to act during a job interview? Then you can participate in the Amazing Applications workshop. During the workshops 'Balancing your student life' and 'Your inner motivation', you will get to know yourself even better. Company Experience Weeks
The Company Experience Weeks will take place during the last weeks of March. Here, accessible and informal contact with companies is paramount. Activities are organised with up to 30 different companies. For example, you can register for a training session organised by Neways Technologies, a cocktail workshop with NEDAP or a beer tasting with VLD.
