Martijn Blom receives the Graduation Award of the Faculty of Science and Technology (TNW). He took the master's programme in Chemical Engineering. For his thesis ' Electrochemical energy storage in the bicarbonate-formate system: An engineering approach' he got a 10 for the section"Scientific & Research” and for the section 'Reporting & General' a 9. Blom is currently working as a PhD student at the chair Sustainable Process Technology (SPT) and the chair PhotoCatalytec Synthesis (PCS). There he’s doing research into the possibilities of energy storage using electrochemistry. The jury indicated that Blom during both the bachelor's and the master's phase, noticed by his excellent grades and the many interesting discussions initiated by him with the teachers and a host of extracurricular activities.
