January 17th 2018: Two projects granted within the NWO Mat4Sus project:
“Nanometer-resolved in operando characterization of photocatalyst-electrolyte interfaces by Atomic Force Microscopy” –
Frieder Mugele (UT), Guido Mul (UT), Igor Siretanu (UT), Bastian Mei (UT)
Together with the group of Physics of Complex Fluids (PCF) we will characterize the properties of semiconductor-electrolyte interfaces during photo(electro)catalytic reactions using Atomic Force Microscopy and spectroscopy in liquid environment. In this 4-year project we will establish correlations between local properties and macroscopic photo(electro)catalytic activity of semiconductor materials.
