The Buddy project connects international incoming students with students from the UT. The buddy will introduce the international student at the UT, in Enschede, the Netherlands and western culture.
The main goal of Buddy is to contribute to the cultural integration of international students. A Buddy can introduce an international student to his/her new environment in a personal way, adapted to their specific needs. Also it will enhance integration between Dutch and non-Dutch students. In this way, intercultural competences will also be increased, both social and linguistic. All of this will contribute to a fun and vivid international student community.
