On Wednesday, March 1st the basic Language Course Mandarin Chinese starts for students and staff.
This course is intended for people with no previous knowledge of Mandarin Chinese, who for example are intending to spend time in China, for a study or internship, or who are working with Chinese colleagues or teaching Chinese students.
The focus will be on practical skills, needed in everyday situations like housing, study, travel and work in China. After this training you have learned enough basic Mandarin Chinese to order in a restaurant, to ask directions and have a friendly conversation with acquaintances.
