Monday 26 September during the annual MESA+ Meeting the Dave Blank Outreach Award was introduced and awarded. The prize is awarded to a MESA+ researcher with exceptional outreach activities.
The 2016 winner is Loes Segerink because of her multiplicity and diversity in media performances, her enthusiasm in these performances and the inspiring manner she draws (inter)national attention for her research. In this she is a role model for other young researchers. The Dave Blank Outreach Award consists of €1.000,- to be spend on outreach activities.
