New digital library UT

The digital library offers all the scientific literature that you have or can get access to as a UT member. As of August 15, 2016, the digital library is new in three ways:

1.       You will be using a new search system to find literature

In the digital library, you can find literature through Scopus, Web of Science, Google Scholar, the A–Z list of databases, and FindUT. FindUT has been renewed: To find literature, you will now be using a new system in which the old FindUT, Picarta, the UL catalogue and the ITC Catalogue have come together. Visit the digital library to read how to easily find literature in our new system.

2.    You will need to access the digital library in a new way

In order to be recognized as a UT member and see which literature you can access through the UT, you will need to access the databases through the proxy server. On campus, you will not notice any difference, but off campus, you will have to follow a different procedure: It is important that you always access the databases, for example Scopus, through the digital library. That way, you will be automatically redirected to the proxy server. You simply log in with your ICT-account number that starts with s as username, and the password that you created yourself. You will no longer need a 'Library VPN' connection when you are off campus. You can still use it for the time being, but the service will eventually stop.

3.    You will find the digital library on our new website

The departments Library & Archive and ICTS joined forces and are now working together as LISA: Library, ICT Services & Archive. You will find the digital library on our new joint LISA website. You will also find our other services there.

We are happy with the innovations, because they allow us to help you better. If you have any questions or suggestions for improvement, please contact the University Library

We will gladly help you.
