A new joint project has been granted to PCF and the Surface Technology and Tribology (STT) group in collaboration with industrial partners from SKF, the Materials Innovation Institute M2i, and Tata Steel.
The goal of the project is to achieve a better physical understanding of grease as a lubricant. Grease is a complex fluid that consists of a base oil embedded into a matrix of self-assembled fibrous structures that is made of amphiphilic molecules. For more details and a description of the vacancy, see here and PCF Twente on LinkedIn.
