You have properly followed all the courses, studied the exam materials completely and pounded your notes so heavily into your head that you even dream of them. But when you arrive at the exam there is suddenly a problem: You forgot to enroll!
That is very unfortunate, because this may mean that even if you're making the exam, the grade will not be recorded and your long hours studying have been for nothing.
What often goes wrong and how to prevent
What does often go wrong and how can you prevent it? When it comes to exams in Osiris, there are a few things to keep in mind. First you can register in Osiris for the course itself, however you are not automatically registered for the exam during the exam weeks. You need to perform the registrations for exams separately in Osiris and this is possible in the period between 40 and 14 days before the examination.
Tips and tricks
The latter sometimes also causes confusion. Because each examination has its own registration period and thus you should keep track of it for each exam separately. There's a trick: it is generally wise to review your enrollments on a weekday during the 5th and 6th college weeks of the quartile. During those days, there is an overlap in the registration periods because the first and last exams of the exam weeks are then open for enrollment.
Finally, it is advisable to carefully observe the course code and course name of the course for which you want to do an exam. Some course names and course codes are very similar, and a mistake is easily made herein.
